January is already moving along, and Christmas and New Year’s Eve are behind us. Life has found its normal rhythm again. Here in the Netherlands, we’ve been surrounded by a beautiful white winter landscape for several days now — and it doesn’t look like it’s ending anytime soon.
After all the Christmas cards, we move back into wintery cards and, of course, all kinds of other cards. But as cardmakers, we’re always thinking one step ahead… and the next occasion asking for cards is Valentine’s Day.
Kat Scrappiness has just released a beautiful new collection full of Valentine and love-themed products, so don’t forget to take a look on the website — it’s definitely worth it!
For my very first Valentine card this year, I decided to work with a mix of older Kat Scrappiness products, and I had so much fun creating it. I played with different layers using heart dies to give the card extra depth and interest.
Products used (Kat Scrappiness):
- Pearl Powder – Red Wine
- Pearl Powder – Gold
- Pearl Powder – White Gold
- Distress Spritz – Barn Door
- Distress Spritz – Lumberjack
- Embossed Edge Heart Craft Dies
- Valentine Quokka Stamp Set
- Valentine Quokka Coordinating Craft Dies
- Be My Valentine 6x8 Stamp Set
- Be My Valentine Coordinating Craft Dies
- Be My Valentine 6x6 Paper Pad
- Gold Mine Rhinestone Mix
** This post is extra special to me, because this is my very first Kat Scrappiness card as a Design Team member — not just as a creative maker anymore. I’m beyond excited and so grateful to be part of this amazing team!**
