Keep calm.........and say arghhhhh; Kat Scrappiness

Ahoy crafty friends!

I had so much fun playing with the brand new Pirate Release from Kat Scrappiness, and this card proves it. Cute pirates, hidden treasure, rainbows, and a bold sentiment — what more could you want?

For this 5 x 7 inch card, I created a soft blended sky and sea background and built a playful scene using a filmstrip-style layout. Each window tells a little part of the pirate story: the treasure map, the chest full of gold, the cheeky crab, and of course our brave (and adorable!) pirate captain taking center stage.

I love mixing cute images with graphic elements, and the bold black frame really makes the colors pop,  while a few black enamel dots  finish everything off just right.

This release is incredibly versatile — perfect for kids’ cards, fun birthdays, or anyone who loves a bit of adventure and humor. If you enjoy scene-building and storytelling in your cards, this one is a must-have!
