On October the 22th 2024, I handed over the third class with the following text;

Hello, my crafty friends! Today, I come back to you with my third post as a participant of the Altenew Educator Certification Program. This course is named Clean and Simple Boutique cards! A very interesting class, with a lot of tips and different ways and techniques to use on a CAS card. The most important thing is that you leave a good amount of empty space.
Although it is named a Clean and Simple card, you do want it to be a special card, like every card.

As you all may be know, the cards I usually make don't leave a whole lot of empty space.
But that made the class even more fun and challenging for me. And I don't want to make a very standard card, I often try to make something a bit unexpected.

I used allmost all products from @altenewllc
So, for my background, I used black glimmer cardstock. The flowers I cut out of white paper and inkblended them. For the borders of the flowers and the leaves, I used gold brushed cardstock. The leaves I let open to keep the look fresh and open. For extra texture and interest, I embossed three stripes on the black background.
The sentiment I stamped with the same purple ink as I used for the flowers. I used clear embossingpowder to heat emboss this.

Clean and Simple, so I used no embellishments and no splattering.

I had a lot of fun making this card, and I will make a Clean and Simple card more often, for sure!
Only the black glimmer cardstock is so gorgeous to use, but making foto's of it gives a whole other challenge. 😄 Anyone tips for that?

Hope you all like my card, thank you for following me and I wish you all a very good tuesday! ❤️
