I used the adorable Pirate Quokkas collection from Kat Scrappiness. Aren’t they just the cutest little pirates? I created this fun fold card to give the scene a bit of movement and surprise. When you open it, the sweet characters and elements come to life across the panels — almost like a little story unfolding.
For the main images I used the Pirate Quokkas Stamps together with the Coordinating Craft Dies. The patterned papers are from the Pirate Quokkas Paperpad, which made it so easy to build the background with matching colors and fun pirate details.
The palm tree and island elements are created using the Tropical Island Getaway Craft Dies and Let’s Go Camping Craft Dies. I love mixing sets to build my own little scene! The stitched circles are from the Stitched Rope Nested Circle Craft Dies, which fit the pirate theme perfectly.
The “Happy Birthday” sentiment is from the Bow-tiful Happy Birthday Sentiment Dies, and I added some highlights with my Nuvo White Gel Pens. A little soft ink blending with the 1/2" Stencil & Ink Soft Blending Brushes finished everything off beautifully.
I had so much fun making this card. Sometimes it is just wonderful to create something lighthearted and joyful — a small paper adventure.
