Workshop with Aditi | A Creative Afternoon Beneath the Waves

Sometimes it is simply wonderful to join a workshop, relax and create something completely different.

This time I joined one of Aditi's fun workshops, where we made a beautiful accordion fold card with an underwater theme. It was my first time making this style of accordion card, so it took a little concentration, but I really enjoyed the process. I didn't had the layering dies Aditi used so we looked together for a replacement and came on the Oval Layering dies.

The layered design creates so much depth, making it feel as if you're looking through an aquarium window. The colorful fish, jellyfish and sea plants all come together to create a cheerful underwater scene.

One of the things I enjoy most about workshops like these is learning a new fold while spending time with fellow crafters. There is always something new to discover, and just as important... plenty of laughter along the way.

This card may not be perfect, but that's not what mattered. I learned a new fold, enjoyed the creative process and came home with a smile. Sometimes that is exactly what we need.

This card is an A2 card and for sure, I am going to make an A7 version as well! This kind of fold is really fun to make with other scenes too,
